We expect 2007 to be a great year for all
of you. We will continue to provide you with guests who will
not only offer good advice, but the best job opportunities
in Georgia
The Career Ministry is an
outreach ministry to help all individuals, regardless of race
or creed, to find employment opportunities. As such, The
Career Ministry adheres to the following guidelines:
Access
to The Career Ministry is anonymous. We do
not require seekers to register on our website in order to
access our jobs and/or information. By using anonymous access,
we do not track or “know” who our visitors are
– other than that they are job seekers.
Jobs posted to The Career Ministry
are not purchased or acquired by contracts with outside employment
agencies or headhunters where fees are required or involved.
The jobs posted on The Career Ministry are
obtained from individuals (recruiters, former job seekers
(Paying It Forward), other career ministry groups, Department
of Labor contacts, and County and State employers, corporations
and from various religious organizations (Archdiocese of Atlanta,
Roswell United Methodist Church).
Seekers are not charged any fees to access
The Career Ministry job listings. All postings
on the website are free to all who access the site.
The Career Ministry reviews
positions to help display the postings to the widest audience
by using “seeker-friendly” categories for the
job listings. Job categories on the site can be added or removed
easily to fit the “best” description of positions
available. For example, the need for Seasonal Workers lists
positions that are designed for a set time (Income Tax preparation,
Holiday sales help); other categories, when the amount of
information on a position are limited, are “grouped”
in categories such as “A-Multiple IT Positions (limited
details)” or “A-DOL, State or County Board”.
A quick glance at the category listing points the job seeker
to the area where they can look for open positions (i.e.,
“Customer Service”, “Information Technology
– Databases” , “InformationTechnology –
Programmer/Developer”, “Training/Education”).
Positions on The Career Ministry
cover Metro Atlanta, Georgia, the entire United States, and
worldwide positions. Because some of our seekers may want
to accept a position in other areas than Metro Atlanta, our
website posts positions as both “local” and “non-local”
to the metro area. This provides the seeker with more options
for job searches.
The Career Ministry meetings
are free. We never charge for individuals to attend our meetings.
We welcome everyone to our meetings and share with our guests,
all of our resources.
The Career Ministry jobs
are purged on a regular basis. We purge jobs after 20 days.
This provides seekers with current, up to date listings of
available jobs instead of paging through hundreds of outdated,
stale positions that is common on many other job sites. |
